"Rockabye Worlds" is a heartfelt musical created by Paolo Scardina as a tribute to the memory of his dear friend, Ric Rease.
Premiering in Sedona, Arizona, in 2020 presented by the Sedona International Film Festival, the production tells the enchanting story of Vinny, a reserved young man with a vivid imagination who often escapes into his own inner world. One evening, he hears a soft, melodic lullaby sung by a whimsical figure named Mr. Bluebird, whose shimmering feathers beckon Vinny into a dreamscape. In this magical meadow bathed in golden light, where time seems to stand still, Vinny embarks on a journey of self-discovery and encounters a kindred spirit whose laughter feels deeply familiar. Together, they explore this ethereal realm, and Vinny experiences a profound love that feels both destined and unexpected.
Upon awakening, the memory of the dream lingers, and though Mr. Bluebird is gone, his lullaby remains in Vinny's heart, a gentle reminder that love often soars into our lives in the most extraordinary ways.
